CNC Operator

At American Products, Inc. (API) is a local manufacturer serving the construction, retail and restaurant industry. We specialize in manufacturing architectural metal products from our facilities in Oldsmar, Fl. These products include, but are not limited to the following: Storefronts, Doors, Canopies, Sunshades, Acm panel systems, Brake metal, Awnings, Roof screens, and handrails.

Some of the largest national chains in the country are our customers, Chipotle, Outback, Lululemon, Warby Parker, Panera, Wawa, Forever 21, H&M, Gap, Old Navy, Athleta, etc. as well as architects, general contractors and subcontractors located nationally throughout the US.

We are hiring an experienced CNC Operator to perform a variety of machine operations utilizing numerical control machines to cut, shape or form metal parts to specifications. You will support the business by producing high quality products, making sure the customer projects come to life on time.

CNC Operator Requirements and skills:

Able to read and understand blueprints
Proficient in the use of calipers, micrometers and other measurement devices.
Capable of lifting 35-40 lbs
Knowledge of cutting tools used in CNC machines.
Able to make adjustments on the machine.
Good communication skills
High attention to detail
Good technical and mathematical skills
